Sr. Software Developer (data)

A large healthcare company is looking to hire a Remote Sr. Software Developer to join their Data integration team. This person will be working alongside 4-8 developers including a Team Lead and other cross-functional developers. The Sr Developer will be responsible for helping build out the client's Enterprise Data Integration platform called Data Grid that sits on AWS cloud. Projects are run on 2-week Sprints - 15% of this person's day will be spent on planning/Sprint sessions, 20% is spent on design discussions, and the other 65% will be spent hands-on coding. Most of their job will consist of building out Data Grid using Java and Node, building out data pipelines using SQL, and creating Lambda functions.

5+ years of software development experience working on data integration/ingestion projects

Experience working with applications in AWS and creating Lambda functions

Extensive experience working with Node and Java to build and maintain applications

Experience using SQL to create data pipelines

Recent experience with containerization

Experience with Git for version control

Experience with Python and JavaScript

Experience with Snowflake or Health Lake
