Job Description

We are hiring a Senior GEO/AEO Strategy Lead to own our transition from a search-first to an AI-answer-first visibility strategy — ensuring the brands are accurately known, trusted, and recommended by AI systems, while also stabilizing our core technical SEO foundation. While the role will be based in Parsippany and primarily focused on North America, it carries a worldwide remit: strategies, playbooks, and technical standards developed here are expected to be extensible to EMEA and APAC, and the Strategy Lead should build with global rollout in mind from the outset. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Engineering, Customer Care, Brand Marketing, and Content/Adobe CMS, with visibility into senior leadership reporting.
GEO/AEO is an emerging, fast-moving discipline with few established internal playbooks — this role is intentionally senior and self-directed. We are looking for someone who has already built this kind of strategy elsewhere (or in the closely-related discipline of applying it), can operate independently with minimal oversight, and is comfortable setting direction in ambiguity rather than executing against a pre-defined plan.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in SEO/digital visibility strategy, with recent hands-on leadership of AEO and/or GEO initiatives — this is specialized, in-demand expertise and the role should be resourced/compensated accordingly.
• Track record of operating autonomously in a senior, strategic capacity — defining direction, prioritizing, and driving outcomes with minimal day-to-day oversight.
• Proven experience leading SEO, AEO, and/or GEO strategy for a large, multi-brand, or e-commerce organization.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe CMS (Adobe Experience Manager preferred) for content publishing and optimization.
• Experience with JIRA for managing and tracking tickets with Engineering teams.
• Strong analytical skills — comfortable defining, tracking, and reporting on brand visibility and AI-citation KPIs, and translating data into content/technical strategy.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills; demonstrated ability to work with Engineering, Content, Customer Care/CX, and senior leadership.
• Deep understanding of how AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, etc.) source, synthesize, and cite brand information.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in travel, mobility, or another high-consideration consumer vertical.
• Familiarity with structured data/schema markup implementation and E-E-A-T principles.
• Prior experience presenting strategy and results to senior/executive stakeholders.
• Experience building or scaling a marketing strategy across multiple regions (e.g., NAM, EMEA, APAC).

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
