Job Description
The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) supports clinical trials by performing core nursing functions, study coordination, and data management. This role focuses on subject recruitment and enrollment, consistent study implementation, data accuracy and integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements across the New Jersey regional sites.
This position is based in Cherry Hill, NJ, with occasional coverage at Washington Township, and will require approximately three months of onboarding in Philadelphia for shadowing and training.
Key Responsibilities
Study Coordination — Manage subject recruitment, screening, and enrollment; ensure protocol adherence across all study activities.
Clinical Nursing Support — Perform basic nursing skills required for clinical research visits.
Data Management — Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant study documentation; ensure data integrity.
Regulatory Compliance — Support reporting requirements and ensure adherence to institutional and federal regulations.
Independent Site Operations — Function as the primary research staff member at the Cherry Hill Medical Oncology office, interacting daily with providers and nursing staff.
Sample Processing — Process research samples onsite; utilize the research lab located within the Medical Oncology office.
Cross‑Site Support — Provide occasional coverage at Washington Township during staff PTO or leave (advance notice provided).

Required Skills & Experience
- 2 years of experience either as an oncology nurse or a clinical research nurse
- Active RN license (NJ or compact)
-Experience working with patients to collect/ document information and provide education regarding the research study
- Experience organizing meetings to track and record the progress of clinical trials
- Ability to work independently in a smaller research team environment

- Comfortable processing research samples in the lab
