Job Description

We are seeking seven QA Automation Engineers to support its Global Web Redesign initiative. These resources will join an established global QA team responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of customer-facing web applications across multiple brands and regions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Playwright-based test automation, TypeScript development, and modern CI/CD practices. This role will play a key part in Avis' transformation toward an automation-first and AI-first quality engineering model, including validating AI-generated test scenarios and expanding automated test coverage across global web platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright
Strong programming experience with TypeScript
Experience testing modern web/front-end applications
Solid understanding of Git version control and branching strategies
Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments
Ability to create, execute, and maintain automated test cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
Experience reviewing, validating, or leveraging AI-generated test cases/scripts and adapting them for production use

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience testing GraphQL APIs
Experience validating RESTful services
Experience working with SOAP-based integrations
Background in the travel, rental car, hospitality, or transportation industries
