Job Description

This role sits at the intersection of supply chain business operations and enterprise data engineering, focused on driving delivery of data products across a newly formed data organization at Colgate.

The Data Delivery Lead will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into data solutions and ensuring execution from intake through delivery.

This individual will not be hands-on building but will own end-to-end execution, working across data architects and engineers while ensuring governance and alignment with business needs.

This is a critical hire due to a loss of domain expertise internally, requiring someone who can operate as both a functional SME and technical translator.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Partner with supply chain stakeholders to gather and define data requirements
• Translate business needs into BRDs and technical direction
• Work with data architects on solution design
• Oversee data engineers and validate outputs
• Review models and approve PRs in Git
• Operate across multiple pods supporting different data initiatives
• Drive communication between business and technical teams
• Ensure adherence to governance, security, and architecture standards
• Manage timelines, priorities, and delivery across initiatives
• Act as a functional SME + translator for supply chain data
