Job Description

One of Insight Global's major retail clients is seeking a Project Manager with experience supporting Store Systems-related projects. • They will support program execution across multiple workstreams, including store systems, infrastructure, and risk remediation initiatives. This person will facilitate project tracking, status reporting, action logs, and cross-team coordination to ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track. They will drive meeting cadence, including status calls, governance forums, and stakeholder updates. Act as a central point of coordination across IT, business, vendors, and leadership to maintain alignment. Track risks, dependencies, and milestones; proactively escalate issues and remove blockers. Support governance processes including architecture reviews, funding approvals, and stage gates. Assist with vendor coordination, budgeting inputs, and program documentation. Organize and structure large volumes of work to improve clarity, prioritization, and execution efficiency. Create clear, executive-ready communications, status updates, and reporting materials.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience in program coordination, PMO support, or complex project environments
• Strong PM/coordination skills with the ability to run meetings, track execution, and drive follow-ups without heavy oversight
• Experience supporting large-scale IT, infrastructure, or transformation programs
• Familiarity with governance processes (e.g., approvals, stage gates, architecture reviews
• Experience using PMO tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with ambiguity

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to retail or multi-site environments, especially store technology ecosystems
• Familiarity with POS systems, self-checkout, or new store openings
• Experience supporting programs tied to enterprise infrastructure, BCDR, or risk remediation efforts
• Light exposure to cybersecurity or network initiatives (not deeply technical; just general understanding)
• Experience supporting vendor transitions, managed services, or outsourcing programs
