Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Lead Deployment Technician to support and oversee a large-scale device rollout for a healthcare client in North Jersey. This individual will play a key role in coordinating deployment activities across the main hospital and Epic training environments, ensuring a smooth and efficient rollout of laptops, desktops, and peripherals within a Windows environment. Responsibilities include leading day-to-day deployment operations, guiding junior technicians, and ensuring quality across hardware setup, device swaps, cable management, and imaging/configuration. The Lead Technician will serve as a point of escalation for troubleshooting issues and will work closely with project stakeholders to maintain alignment with deployment timelines and priorities. Candidates should bring strong technical troubleshooting experience, familiarity with ticketing systems, and exposure to Epic environments. Prior experience mentoring or leading technicians in a structured rollout setting is highly preferred. Following rollout, this individual will take ownership of post–go-live support, ensuring system stability and continued operational efficiency. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to drive team performance and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience with technology deployment
• Must be comfortable imaging, deploying & testing software
• Basic Epic exposure
• Basic VDI Knowledge
• Experience troubleshooting basic hardware & software issues and working directly with end users.
• Excellent communication
• Previous lead role experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Service Desk Plus
• Previous deployment project experience in healthcare setting preferred
