Job Description
A large automotive client is seeking a Sr Front-End Engineer to design, build, and modernize UI components that support the client’s multi-tier web applications. This role focuses on implementation, frontend architecture contribution, and modernization of existing UI patterns.
This person will be responsible for designing, creating, implementing, and improving user interface components for core applications, while ensuring solutions are scalable, responsive, and aligned with overall application architecture. The consultant will work cross-functionally with backend engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences across the platform.
Responsibilities include evaluating existing applications and making recommendations for modernizing HTML, improving utilization of front-end frameworks, and helping define front-end look and feel standards. This individual will implement front-end frameworks and collaborate closely with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs.

Required Skills & Experience
8 years of development experience
5+ years of experience with front-end frameworks like ReactJS, TypeScript and/or JavaScript
Proficiency with Redux (or equivalent) for state management
Familiarity with Axios or similar HTTP clients and REST APIs
Experience developing responsive and/or mobile web applications
Experience with unit or UI/ end to end testing – using testing tools/frameworks such as
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and XD/Figma for prototyping and wireframes
