Job Description
This role is accountable for driving traffic quality and foundational conversion rate optimization (CRO) by driving organic search and on-site search experiences across the portfolio of all value brand websites. In alignment with the organization's overarching "conversion-first" strategy, this senior specialist will optimize organic search and on-site search experiences to capture high-intent users, streamline the digital storefront funnel, and maximize digital conversion rates. As a senior-level individual contributor, this role requires to actively bridge gaps via interdepartmental participation and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• SEO Strategy & Execution: Own the day-to-day creation and implementation of comprehensive SEO strategies tailored for all value brand sites, focusing on increasing qualified organic traffic, improving search rankings, and driving conversions.
• Technical SEO Management: Directly partner with GTS and Digital Execution to maintain optimal website architecture. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including bot crawling, redirects, indexing, sitemap optimization, schema markups, robots.txt, SSL security, and correct usage of HTTP status codes.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize analytical tools (e.g., GA4, Google Search Console) to monitor website performance and generate reports that synthesize data into actionable insights. Forecast SEO opportunities, track progress against established metrics, and keep the broader team abreast of Google algorithms and updates.
• Content & On-Page Optimization: Partner with merchandising, the e-commerce team, and campaign managers to optimize and refresh content across homepages, plans pages, marketing landing pages, promotional headlines, and SEO tags for PDPs and PLPs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the subject matter expert to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into every project. Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams, designers, and business stakeholders, participating in the global nav council, new promotions, paid media, web architecture, and affiliate marketing initiatives.
• AI & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Monitor and report on AI-centric KPIs such as AI chatbot referral sessions and AIO (AI Overview) SERP features. Format and optimize elements like crawlability, schema, and FAQs to maximize brand visibility within LLMs and generative search engines.
• Internal Site Search Optimization: Manage and actively optimize internal search functionality by identifying defects and advocating for necessary enhancements. Work directly with our third-party vendor (Yext) on site search operations to ensure customers experience a frictionless journey from search query to checkout.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), preferably within an e-commerce or multi-brand environment.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of technical SEO (crawling, indexing, schema markup, site architecture) and hands-on experience working with development teams to deploy fixes.
• Tools: Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog). Experience with Yext or similar internal site search platforms is a plus.
• Autonomy: Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize deliverables, and drive results in a fast-paced environment without requiring day-to-day oversight.
