Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Facilities / Maintenance Technician whose primary focus will be maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment including conveyors, case packers, bottle fillers, and palletizers. This role supports safe, efficient production by performing preventive maintenance, responding to downtime events, and partnering with operations to improve reliability and throughput. The ideal candidate also has exposure to batch making operations and is comfortable working around piping, tanks, mixers, and pumps in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (packaging, processing, food/bev, pharma, chemical, consumer goods, etc.).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience maintaining packaging equipment such as conveyors, fillers, case packers, and palletizers.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, power transmission (belts/chains), and basic electrical troubleshooting (sensors, relays, motors).
- Familiarity with manufacturing process equipment and utilities such as pumps, mixers, tanks, and piping (exposure is acceptable; expert-level is not required).
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment schematics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, responding to downtime events, and supporting shift priorities.
