Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a payroll technician for a hospital system in New Jersey. The Payroll Technician supports the end‑to‑end payroll process for hospital employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with union contracts, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements. Day to day, this role reviews and audits employee timecards, resolves paycheck discrepancies, processes new hires, terminations, differentials, overtime, and leave balances, and responds to employee payroll inquiries. The Payroll Technician works closely with HR, finance, and department managers to ensure data accuracy, maintain employee records, support payroll reporting, and assist with audits while ensuring strict compliance with hospital, state, and federal payroll standards.

- Technically proficient with payroll systems and tools
High school diploma or equivalent
