Job Description

A client of ours is looking for an analytical chemist to join their Analytical Characterization group within R&D as part of the chromatography and wet chemistry laboratory, performing qualitative and quantitative analyses of small organic compounds, additives, degradation products, and impurities in complex polymer matrices. The role includes independently executing chromatographic analyses (GC, Headspace GC, and U/HPLC-UV), managing end‑to‑end analytical workflows from sample preparation through data analysis, reporting, and documentation, and supporting New Product Development and Life‑Cycle Management. The individual will collaborate with analytical colleagues, assist with technical reports, communicate results clearly, troubleshoot instruments, report and investigate OOS/OOT results, and ensure strict adherence to safety, confidentiality, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

-MS degree (2+ years) or PhD (hands-on, development with GC) in Chemistry
-Pharma, chemical, gas, or medical device experience
-GxP experience
-GC chromatography
-Method development experience
-Small molecules experience
