Job Description
The Epic Application Analyst is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and translating business requirements into system design and enhancements within the Epic EHR. This role supports end users by troubleshooting issues, guiding workflow design, building and testing system functionality, and ensuring changes meet business, quality, and regulatory requirements without adverse system impact. The analyst partners closely with operational, quality, revenue cycle, and business leaders, as well as Epic representatives, to design, optimize, test, and implement system solutions. Responsibilities include integrated testing across Epic environments, data validation, workflow and process improvement, documentation development, user education for upgrades and deployments, maintaining data integrity and security, and staying current on Epic releases to support ongoing system optimization and performance improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience
• HB Claims and Remittance certification
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on Epic HB and/or PB Claims and Remittance experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital and professional billing workflows, claims processing, and revenue cycle operations
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and ability to work professionally with diverse stakeholder groups
