Job Description
One of our major retail clients is seeking a Java/Android Developer to support ongoing application development across their internal systems. This role will work closely with cross‑functional IT teams to enhance, maintain, and modernize applications that support store operations, supply chain, and enterprise workflows. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on development experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Java 7+ years preferred - midlevel
- Android development
- Oracle PL/SQL
- HTML 4/5 & JavaScript
- Websites / application development
- Working knowledge of GitHub / any source code repo
- Experience with SDLC process
- IT experience working within development team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with restful service / APIs (Applications and Programming Interfaces), JSON
- Cloud dev experience- ex. Azure, Azure Dev Ops
- Experience working with IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, Gradle, TOAD or SQL Developer, AirWatch, Jenkins, Artifactory, Urban Code
- Experience working with application development within app server environments – preferred WebLogic or Azure cloud
- Azure certification, Agile certification, SCRUM certification
