Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Python Programmers to work onsite in NYC/NJ for one of its largest financial services clients. These resources will join either the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) team or the Frontier team, which focuses on front-office collaboration technology within the Equity Derivatives organization. Programmers aligned to the Frontier team will support the Direct Market Access (DMA) initiative, a high-visibility effort forced on transitioning code originally developed by front-office traders into a scalable, technology-owned production environment. The programmer supporting QIS will contribute to the Custom Basket Factory project, a strategic tooling initiative design to managed quantitative product and consolidate existing functionality into a single, unified platform. On a day-to-day basis, approximately 75% of their time will be spent on new development, designing and building Python-based applications and services, integrating APIs, and contributing to dashboard and tooling enhancements (Dash/React where applicable). The remaining 25% of their time will focus on debugging, troubleshooting, and production triage, supporting critical workflows and ensuring system stability in a fast‑paced, highly visible environment.
