Job Description

The Business Analyst will support a large enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) transformation. This role partners with security, engineering, and business teams to support identity platform modernization, access governance improvements, and cross‑platform IAM initiatives. The BA ensures IAM work is clearly defined, properly tracked, thoroughly documented, tested, and delivered in a secure and audit‑ready manner.
Key Responsibilities

Support IAM modernization efforts, including identity platform migrations and access governance initiatives
Capture and document business, functional, and technical requirements for IAM-related work
Coordinate SAML certificate rotations, connection migrations, and cross‑application dependencies
Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and ownership using Jira, Confluence, and Excel
Maintain clear, current documentation (runbooks, migration guidance, decision logs)
Coordinate UAT and functional testing to ensure IAM changes meet business needs
Facilitate discussions between engineering, security, and business stakeholders
Ensure IAM work aligns with governance, compliance, and change management standards

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting complex enterprise environments and cross‑team initiatives
Hands‑on IAM experience, including SSO/federation, SAML, certificate lifecycle management, RBAC, and directory concepts (LDAP / AD)
Proven ability to support large‑scale migrations or multi‑system updates, coordinating across multiple applications, vendors, and stakeholders
Working knowledge of at least one identity platform:, PingFederate (legacy federation) and/or, PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (AIC) and/or Microsoft Entra ID
Strong understanding of SDLC, testing, and UAT, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence
Strong analytical and documentation skills, including Excel‑based tracking, process documentation, ServiceNow workflows, and familiarity with security/compliance or audit‑driven environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CISSP
Security+ (baseline security knowledge)
Identity-focused training/certificates (Ping/Microsoft identity learning paths)
Visio / Miro (process flows, integration diagrams)
Splunk familiarity or other log query experience
