IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will lead two concurrent initiatives focused on onboarding vendor based AI solutions at Bank of America. This role requires close collaboration with Scrum Masters, vendor development teams, internal testing teams, and risk/governance partners. Prior Bank of America experience is strongly preferred due to AI model governance and Modern Risk Management (MRM) requirements. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage two AI related projects involving vendor products
• Coordinate across vendors, internal technology teams, testing, and risk/governance
• Drive project scope, plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies
• Support AI model documentation, categorization, and approval workflows
• Provide clear status updates, risk escalation, and delivery oversight
• Ensure adherence to Bank of America standards, security controls, and best practices

• Prior Project Manager experience within the Financial Banking industry within the last 3 years
• 5–8+ years of IT project management experience
• Agile project management experience; ability to partner closely with Scrum Masters
• Release Management experience
• COTS/vendor onboarding experience, including onshore & offshore teams
• Strong understanding of security, risk, and enterprise change management
• PMP certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Adaptable, team oriented, practical, and comfortable navigating large organizations

• Experience with AI/ML enabled solutions
• Familiarity with AI model documentation, approvals, or MRM processes
• Experience supporting audit, analytics, or risk focused initiatives
