Job Description

The IT Business Partner for Logistics & Distribution serves as the strategic liaison between business operations and IT, owning SAP ERP–to–3PL integrations that support warehouse, transportation, and fulfillment processes. This role ensures reliable, scalable, and efficient end-to-end logistics execution by aligning SAP solutions with 3PL systems and driving continuous improvement across distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain teams to translate business requirements into SAP ERP and 3PL integration solutions.
• Own end-to-end SAP ↔ 3PL integrations for outbound, inbound, inventory, and returns processes, ensuring data accuracy and operational reliability.
• Lead requirements definition, solution design, integration mapping, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare for logistics initiatives and 3PL onboarding.
• Manage integration performance, monitoring, and incident resolution to meet SLAs for message success, latency, and availability.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers, system integrators, and internal IT teams to govern releases, changes, and continuous improvement backlogs.
• Ensure master data alignment (materials, packaging, locations, carriers) to support accurate fulfillment, inventory visibility, and billing.
• Drive process optimization and automation to reduce manual effort, fulfillment exceptions, and operational costs.
• Support compliance, audit, and control requirements related to inventory, shipment confirmations, and financial postings.
• Contribute to the logistics IT roadmap, aligning technology investments with business strategy and growth objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years in logistics, supply chain systems, or warehouse operations with a strong technology focus.

- Deep expertise in SAP ERP (MM/SD/IM), SAP WM, and SAP–3PL integration (IDocs, EDI, APIs).

- Experience with Blue Yonder (WMS, WLM, or planning modules).

- Proven leadership in SIT and UAT for large-scale system implementations.

- Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, inventory, shipping, and stock control processes.

- Experience supporting domestic and international logistics operations.
