Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst to support a major financial services client. This hybrid PM/BA will support investment and operations teams as they roll out new tools and systems. They will run meetings, gather business needs, turn those needs into organized JIRA stories, and keep the project moving across multiple teams. They will document processes, track timelines, and ensure the work stays on schedule. This person will interact regularly with senior stakeholders (i.e. investment, portfolio operations, technology), so they must understand basic investment terms and be able to communicate clearly. This role is hybrid onsite in Newark, NJ.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of end‑to‑end project management experience within financial services.
Strong documentation and process mapping skills -- can clearly outline workflows, procedures, and system changes.
JIRA proficiency - ability to translate business needs into clean, organized user stories and track work from start to finish.
Background in investment operations or trading support - ability to "speak the language" with senior investment stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - can communicate with investments, portfolio management and technology.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to support system implementations (i.e. rolling out new tools like an order management system).
Familiarity with investment concepts (ETFs, tax‑efficient strategies), automation, reporting improvements, or process optimization.
Scrum Master, PMP, or other PM/agile certifications.
