Position Overview
This AC installer has two openings 1 in Atlanta, GA. and 1 in Paramus NJ.
The AC Installer III will be responsible for all assigned tasks required to successfully install energy conservation projects including, but not limited to, ensuring a clean and prepared jobsite and assisting other Installers and Foreman with equipment assembly and installations. The AC installer III must work in the safest possible manner, following all National Electrical Code guidelines, OSHA guidelines, and the clients processes, procedures, and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in the safest possible manner while following all the clients and OSHA guidelines.
-Complete all work according to National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.
-Report to Foreman, Field Operations Manager, or Operations Manager to receive daily/weekly assignments.
-Maintain a clean and prepared jobsite and eliminate all possible hazards.
-Perform a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete the installation of commercial electrical projects.
-Responsible for complete and correct installation of AC electrical equipment from the inverter to and including the AC interconnection within the guidelines of manufacturers instructions.
-Responsible for complete and correct installation of data acquisition system, communications, and metering devices
-Assist with loading and unloading of trucks/vans and staging material.
-Properly maintain all company property provided to perform job.
-Interact in a professional and respectful manner with coworkers and customers.
-Participate in weekly safety meetings.
-Complete all company required safety training programs.
-Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
-Ability to work independently and lead tasks per the project schedule and as assigned by Foreman while adhering to QMP

Required Skills & Experience
Education
-High School diploma or equivalent – preferred
-Related education and/or training (Vocational or Trade related program) – a plus!
Knowledge and Experience
- 4+ Years of Commercial Electrical Experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a routine and reoccurring basis throughout the day
- Work safely from rooftops, ladders, and various lifts
- Ability to read, understand, and execute construction plans
- Complete understanding of the equipment layout, assembly, and manufacturers installation specifications and requirements
- Complete understanding of AC and communication conduit systems and circuits
- Proficient in bending, anchoring and securing conduit up to 4 inches
- Complete understanding of DC and grounding systems installation within a solar project
Certifications and Licenses
- Valid Driver’s License*
- OSHA 10
-Werner Ladder Training
-Scissor Lift certification
