Job Description

The Trade Compliance Analyst will support all import and export activities across Canada and Latin America, ensuring full adherence to global trade regulations while driving operational efficiency. This role will work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, and Planning teams to support compliant cross‑border movement of goods, automate compliance reporting, and reduce defects through structured auditing and post‑entry review processes.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs, imports/exports, or global logistics
Hands‑on experience managing Canada and Latin America import and export operations
Strong working knowledge of ITAR, USML, ECCN, and export control classifications
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel for data analysis, dashboard creation, and automation
Proven ability to deliver compliance reports to senior stakeholders (CFO, Country Managers, Supply Chain leaders)
Background in customs regulations, international documentation, and cross‑border procedures
Experience supporting post‑entry audits, identifying defects, validating entries, and correcting root‑cause issues
Demonstrated ability to streamline trade compliance processes to reduce errors and increase efficiency
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify compliance risks and propose corrective actions
Experience working with transportation, logistics, and supply chain planning teams
