Job Description
A client of ours is seeking a Microsoft Teams Migration Project Manager responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and closure of projects involving the migration to or within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a focus on Microsoft Teams. This role combines core project management skills with specific technical knowledge of the Microsoft 365 stack and robust change management expertise. The candidate will develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, managing the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure. Candidate will also continuously monitor project progress, track milestones and deliverables, manage change requests, and provide regular status reports and risk assessments to senior leadership. Should be able to oversee content analysis, data cleansing, permissions mapping, and the physical migration of data from legacy systems (like file servers) to the new Microsoft 365 environment. Client is moving from webex to Microsoft Teams over the course of the next 12-18 months.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience (5 - 10 years) managing IT projects, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 migrations (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 technology stack, including governance, security, and compliance features (e.g., Microsoft Purview, DLP). Familiarity with migration tools (Microsoft's native tools or third-party solutions) is essential.
-Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft project, jira, power bi/excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator, Collaboration Engineer, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Project Management-related MS certifications.
-PMP certification
