Job Description

**HYBRID = 3 DAYS ON-SITE IN ROSELAND, NJ**

As a Contracts Manager with our Customer, your primary responsibility will be to draft, negotiate, and execute a wide range of complex agreements that support our domestic and international strategies. These include professional services, SaaS, technology, and vendor contracts that are critical to their growth and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders—legal, finance, procurement, and business leaders—to ensure contracts are aligned with their strategic goals, protect our interests, and deliver measurable value.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, reduce risk, and support technology and product/service initiatives – able to manage high volume of contracts.
• Specialize in fixed fee and fixed bid contracts, particularly within tech delivery and outcome-based deal structures.
• Collaborate with the legal team to address limitations, liabilities, and ensure business terms are negotiated at the appropriate level.
• Provide strategic consultation with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless contract execution.
• Monitor and manage aging contracts and prioritize based on customer impact and business risk.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with a consultative communication style.
• Provide consultative support to senior and executive leadership on contract structure, risk mitigation, and financial impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align contract terms with business, legal, compliance, and financial objectives.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance and recommend improvements to contract lifecycle processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 yrs in drafting, negotiating, and execute complex agreements with strategic business partners and major vendors.
• Deep understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and negotiation strategy (e.g: Fixed Fee Statement of Work, Professional Service Contracts, etc)
• Experience managing strategic vendor relationships and supporting enterprise-level technology initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• PLUS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
