Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Engineer to join DevOps team of an insurance company, focusing on enhancing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in streamlining software delivery, improving system reliability, and enabling rapid development\deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, implement, and maintain intelligent CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TFS, or GitLab, with a focus on automation and AI-driven optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless, automated software delivery and deployment.
• Continuously monitor and enhance build and release pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability using data-driven insights and AI-based diagnostics.
• Integrate automated testing, quality gates, and AI-powered code analysis tools into CI/CD workflows to ensure high-quality releases.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments using automated monitoring and self-healing mechanisms.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation workflows, CI/CD processes, and AI-enhanced toolchains.
• Champion DevOps and MLOps best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and intelligent automation.
This role is hybrid, 3 days per week on-site in the client's Ewing, NJ office.
Compensation:
$65/hr to $70/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation engineering, or software development with a strong focus on CI/CD.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with experience in automating complex workflows.
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS) and branching strategies.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with AI/ML tools for code analysis, anomaly detection, or predictive monitoring (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Dynatrace Davis AI, Azure Monitor).
• Knowledge of security best practices in automated CI/CD and cloud-native environments.
• Certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or automation tools (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert).
• Exposure to observability and telemetry tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, Prometheus) with AI-enhanced alerting and diagnostics.
