One of Insight Global's large retail clients is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines for a range of initiatives including forecasting, classification, segmentation, process optimization, and operational automation. This role involves building and deploying scalable models on enterprise platforms, leading the integration of Agentic AI frameworks to develop autonomous agents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and execute high-impact ML opportunities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data exploration, feature engineering, model development, and hyperparameter tuning, with a strong focus on deploying reliable, scalable models in production environments. Responsibilities also include ensuring adherence to MLOps best practices, maintaining CI/CD workflows, providing technical mentorship, and staying current with emerging ML/AI technologies to drive innovation across the organization.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
57 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles, 23 of which involve end-to-end ML project deployments
Strong proficiency with Azure cloud services (Azure ML, Data Lake, Data Factory) or any other cloud providers and Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
Proven experience working with large datasets and distributed systems in production environments
Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model lifecycle management, and statistical techniques
Proficient in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, pandas, NumPy
Experience with Agentic AI tools and frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or similar
Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model monitoring, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of data privacy, model governance, and responsible AI principles
Experience in the retail industry or with retail-specific use cases (demand forecasting, recommendations) is highly desirable
Effective communication skills to explain complex AI solutions to business stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment
