Job Description
We are seeking an experienced EHS Risk Assessment Consultant to support our biopharmaceutical manufacturing and research operations in Summit, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide guidance on identifying and assessing EHS risks in Manufacturing, QC, Laboratory, and other operational areas of the site. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive risk assessments and recommending practical, science-based safety improvements. Experience in laboratory safety, chemical safety, biosafety, and GMP environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a team to conduct EHS risk assessments in Manufacturing, QC, Laboratory, and other operational areas of the site.
Review tasks, assess & rank risks (using provided risk ranking matrix), and recommend mitigation strategies and actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EHS, QC and manufacturing teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field.
- 2 - 4+ years conducting EHS risk assessments or EHS evaluations
- 2 - 4+ years of EHS experience working in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, biosafety and chemical safety preferred
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
