Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Specialist with a strong background in insurance to join our team on the night shift (11PM - 7:30AM.) The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying coverage in indemnity plans, handling Medicare and Medicare replacement plans, and managing compliance forms. This role requires excellent multitasking abilities and proficiency in EPIC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify coverage in indemnity plans and manage Medicare and Medicare replacement plans

- Determine which patients need specific compliance forms, including CMS and MOON forms for observation

- Timely call in notices of admissions (NOA) and manage death notices in the NJ death system

- Obtain and manage consent for autopay

- Efficiently multitask and know when to transfer non-clinical tasks

- Work effectively with a team of 3-4 people and a lead on the second shift

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3PM-11:30PM & every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 3PM-11:30PM (will have one day off during the week)

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of healthcare insurance experience
- Strong background with Insurance, with experience in handling indemnity (fee for service) plans, autopay,and Medicare
- Familiarity with CMS guidelines and compliance forms
- Knowledgeable of Notice of Admissions and MOON forms for observation
- EPIC
