Insight Global is hiring a SQL Developer for one of its top clients in the energy industry. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that support business operations and reporting needs. You will be responsible for writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure efficient data processing. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining database performance, security, and reliability, while collaborating with developers and analysts to support application data requirements. The role also includes performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, monitoring and troubleshooting database issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all database systems and processes. Implementing effective backup and recovery strategies will be essential to ensure data integrity and availability.

- BS/BA and/or 4-year technical degree in computer programming or related computer field
- Minimum 6 years of SQL programming experience
- Strong proficiency in relational database concepts and query development, with hands-on experience in MS SQL.
- Expertise in using SSMS for database development and management.
- Solid experience with SSRS and SSIS for reporting and ETL processes.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Oracle Developer.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio.
- Exposure to .NET ASPX.
