Job Description

Prudential is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with a strong background in test automation, Java, and ETL processes. This individual will design, create, test, and deploy test driven solutions across multiple tech domains.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and Java.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for backend and API testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct manual and automated testing, identify defects, and participate in defect triage and root cause analysis.
Work with RESTful APIs and perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI.
Support ETL testing and data validation across big data platforms.
Develop reusable and maintainable test automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

4+ years of hands-on experience in software QA automation

Strong understanding of QA methodologies and test design techniques.

Ability to independently create and maintain Selenium scripts.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Miro.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Tech Stack:

Proficiency in Java and scripting languages.

Strong experience with Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, FitNesse, Postman, SoapUI, Protractor.

Familiarity with cloud databases (DynamoDB, Aurora), caching (ElasticCache), and SQL/RDBMS.

Experience with AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, MySQL, Parquet.

Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid development methodologies.

Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
