Insight Global is looking for a Data Center Technician to join the team with one of our financial clients. You will be working with other technicians based at the companies Piscataway, NJ Data Center and you will be responsible for hands on racking & stacking, routing and switching, break fix, and physical support of the server environment that is approximately 10-12,000 servers (300 cabinets, w/ 40 racks in each cabinet). You will work with your peers, and coordinate with server engineering and hardware teams to initiate requests such as power cycling servers, replacing server hardware and components, installing/racking and stacking new server equipment and providing oversight of other vendors who are completing work in the data center. In addition to day to day support you will also work on projects such as build outs for new racks and new installs. You will be working the 12pm-8pm shift, Monday-Friday. There will be occasional opportunity for overtime on Saturday's as well.

- 2+ years of data center technician experience (ideally in mid-size data center environment)
- Hands on experience with racking & stacking servers, replacing server parts, power cycling
- Strong server hardware knowledge: ports, drives, cabling, server menu
- Comfortable with manual labor, carrying/unloading Inventory
- Attention to detail, work ethic
- Experience with Dell Servers
