Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer for long term, multi-year contract with a large global financial institution. You will be a part of the bank’s Enterprise Risk Finance Technology division specifically supporting development and ETL work within their Liquidity platform. This platform processes over 400 million end of day positions for the Liquidity teams daily. This role involves heavy hands on coding and development in SQL, production, and baseline level testing.
On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for designing and developing batch/ETL interfaces using the proprietary meta data driven approach as part of the LIBRA Interface Team. You will be responsible for maintenance and support of the existing interface processes including investigation of issues and production troubleshooting. Additionally, you will maintain the data lineage to facilitate the end to end traceability as there are changes to the ETL including Liquidity report specific derivations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Expert level SQL coding skills with 5+ years of experience in an enterprise level environment
- Highly proficient in working with Oracle database hands on for data engineering, configurations, and debugging with 5+ years of experience in an enterprise level environment
- Experience supporting large scale projects within financial services
