Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to support the Private Cloud Provisioning Platform for a leading pharmaceutical client. This role is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and securing the platform to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency. The SRE will manage deployments, leveraging GitHub Actions, Terraform, and AWS to automate workflows and improve system reliability. A strong sense of ownership is essential, as this role involves overseeing all aspects of the platform. The SRE must be able to react to vulnerabilities, address security risks, and keep Important Managed Items (IMIs) updated to maintain compliance and system integrity. With a hyper-application-focused approach, the SRE will optimize applications within the cloud environment, prioritizing computing resources for mission-critical workloads. Additionally, they will implement best practices to strengthen platform resilience, security, and compliance, ensuring a stable and efficient infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend applications
- Strong understanding of Git & GitHub Workflows: Ability to manage, optimize, and streamline development using GitHub.
- REST API Expertise
- Strong understanding of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Proficient in deploying and managing workloads in AWS and VMware environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Understanding of VMware components
- Knowledge of Morpheus tool
