Job Description

Our financial institute client is seeking a Project Analyst to help oversee audit and MRA remediation projects. The Project Analyst will support one to two program or project managers on all projects specific to MRA and audit requested items by regulators. The ideal candidate has experience working through a consent order and possesses strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Support program/project managers in managing audit and MRA remediation projects.
Coordinate and track project activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Manage project artifacts and documentation.
Utilize Jira for project tracking and management.
Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide updates and presentations to stakeholders, including executives and board members.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies to address audit and MRA requested items.
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and implement corrective actions as needed.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory change

Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years experience as a Project Analyst in banking consecutively
4+ years experience as a PA involved in MRA and remediation programs
Experience presenting to C suite/ executive leadership
Experience with Tools: Jira and Microsoft Project
Prior experience utilizing agile methodology

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP certification
Knowledge of KYC/AML processes
Experience at a financial institute during a Consent Order
