Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Scientist for a full-time opportunity with a Banking client. This person will be a key member of the Financial Crimes Analytics & Insights Team, and play a pivotal role in enabling the 1st line to combat financial crimes risks through various ad hoc analyses and priority initiatives. This person will leverage various statistical and advanced techniques to identify emerging risks, patterns and typologies to predict financial crime activities and risks. They will be primarily responsible for providing data insight and visualization to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau/PowerBI to create dashboards. They will also schedule and automate analysis, and provide advanced monitoring for the business. They must have the ability to to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights and present them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Any prior experience in banking and/or Financial Crimes is highly preferred.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' Data Science experience
- Strong Statistical Modeling experience
- Strong hands'-on experience building dashboards with Tableau and/or PowerBI
- Databricks experience
- Strong Python/PySpark experience
- Experience in an Azure cloud environment
