A large retail client is looking for a Designer to jointheir rapidly growing e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will support the Beauty creative team and must be a problem solver and conceptual thinker able to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. This role is responsible for designing concepts to final deliverables for brand and seasonal marketing campaigns that will translate across multiple channels including site, email, paid social, and display ads. This individual will be able to integrate well within a team (producers, marketers, copy writers, art directors, and designers), but also be comfortable working individually on projects when required. This role demands consistency in quality of work with the ability to manage multiple projects at different scopes & scales with varying timelines. This role will actively maintain brand standards across all assets and occasionally translate campaign concepts from external agencies or partners to fit or adhere to brand guidelines.

BA/BFA in Graphic Design or other relevant education
2+ years of professional design retail experience in the area of advertising and/or ecommerce design
Extensive knowledge of working with design software specifically Figma & Adobe Creative Suite, including proficiency in advanced functions (for example, multi-layer masking and compositing)
Ability to edit photos and do minor retouching in photoshop (clipping, extending backgrounds etc.)
Ability to distinguish good layout/typography, apply color theory, hierarchy, and balance
Ability to troubleshoot minor problems with typography, layout, applications, hardware
Comfortable doing motion design from static imagery and/or other types of components
