A waste and recycling client of Insight Global's is looking for a Site Manager to join their Ewing, New Jersey depot. This individual will be responsible for overseeing four supervisors, two dispatch supervisors and an operations manager. They will oversee the growth and development of their direct reports, handle pay discrepancies, PTO requests, scheduling, time management and more. Additionally, they will manage the union relationship and CBAs associated with the unions.
You will work alongside the Director of Operations as well as though responsible for the safety of the drivers and facilities to ensure all OSHA and DOT guidelines and protocols are being followed. You'll assist with improved processes, procedures and efficiencies both inside the facility and with the drivers out on the road.
Individuals should possess a strong background in leadership where they have implemented positive change, developed their direct reports to assist in their career growth and working alongside their people on a day-to-day basis.
This is a full-time job opportunity that requires flexibility with hours as driver shifts start as early as 3:00-5:30 a.m. and consist of 10-14 hour days. While work mainly gets done Monday - Friday there will be occasionally Saturday hours required.
