Insight Global is looking for Oncology Pharmacy Technicians to support a large hospital system in NJ, the pharmacy technician will join a team of 5 technicians and 4 pharmacists for their general hospital pharmacy. These candidates will need to be able to perform duties related to IV distribution and dispensing to improve the outcome and quality of patient care. They will need to be able to prepare all IV/Chemo medication orders, for dispensing, which includes drug selection, labeling, and packaging. As well as delivering, triaging, and mixing all medication bags. All techs on this team will also need to be well versed in interpreting medication orders for appropriate strength, route, frequency, and duration. They will be monitoring stock inventory levels, expiration dates, and replenishing supplies of all stock drugs needed and communicating the status/availability of any drugs.

-3-5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a HOSPITAL (cannot use retail experience here)
-PTCB certification
-NJ Pharmacy Technician Certification
-IV experience specific within Oncology/Chemo
-Sterile preparation for IV
