Insight Global is looking for a Tableau Developer to join their Data & analytics group. This group develops Data and analytics solutions internally as a part of technology services group -- focus on developing tableau dashboards, engineering data sets in their cloudera of data lakes (SQL is big). He/she will be looking at the data to put together a solution, or Taking two different data sets and joining them together, doing advanced calculations, tableau (level detail calculations). This individual will be working hand in hand with the business partners to make sure they are satisfied. There will be weekly meetings with the stakeholder to review the backlog -- presenting what this individual has done and what the challenges are. Most of the work is doing the actual development to make sure users are satisfied (review stories, understand the data sets, application maintenance, understand the changes, business partner will explain that in words and then this person will convert it into dashboards using the data sets.) Changing fields within dashboards, change filters, add to the chart -- specific examples of the tasks they will be accomplishing.
A lot of the time they will be supporting the current dashboard (business partner gives the requirements) but then also developing new dashboards.
