Job Description

One of our large healthcare clients is looking for a Lab Operations Director to join the organization. This person will oversee the laboratories of two mid-sized hospitals and a cancer center. This person will supervise, coordinate, and oversee the technical activities of the department such as financial, human resource, and quality management. They will serve as primary liaison for the lab to the campus.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree (BS) in laboratory sciences.

Valid registration as a Medical Technologist or equivalent, or meets CLIA88 requirements for high complexity testing.

5+ years of Lab Operations Management experience

Experience with hematology, chemistry, and blood bank

Exceptional communication and soft skills

general knowledge of laboratory technology in all disciplines and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Experience developing budget and statistical records related to laboratory's operation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's degree is desirable.

ASCP certification preferred.
