Insight Global is looking for a Product Analyst to join a net new multi year/multi scope project. He/She will support the Technical Product Owner (TPO) in translating business needs for Global Trade Compliance products to ensure alignment with the business objectives. They will be responsible for partnering with Business stakeholders, XD Designers, Architects as well as other domain professionals across Technology to ensure that all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle meet or exceed the customers' expectations. This is a customer and product-centric team, where everything they do starts and ends with the customer. The team just conducted an RFP and narrowed it down to 10 software as a service providers. One of the things that they need to do is ensure that nobody they are paying is restricted or a sanction country or you know, various other things. And so one of the things that they started to do in terms of supporting them is working to identify suppliers, software service suppliers that they could bring in a system to automate the process of screening all of their payees against the restricted entity lists ( very manual way with a lot of spreadsheets currently). Looking to help automate these processes and make them a lot more sustainable as especially as volume continues to grow.
And so depending on what's going on in any given day, sometimes they're going to be in the meetings on how this screen solution is going to need to integrate with it. And so they're going to need to be listening and understanding and thinking about well, what's that going to mean for these are stories that I'm going to need to be writing eventually for how this is going to fit in there. So sometimes it's going to be meetings like that. Other times, they're going to be actually writing out like user stories as they go into the implementation of this screening solution, which will happen later this year. Once they make their selection on the provider. This individual will be the key person writing those user stories. They will be the key person keeping those user stories in prioritization order in JIRA, which means keeping close communication with their business partners, making sure that they are in close communication with along with the TPO as well but along with the service provider that they are implementing with to make sure that project is staying on course. They'll have to stay in close coordination with the business partners who will do their business testing, but they'll be doing more of the technical testing, because they will have data that will be flowing from their internal systems to the assessed solution of the party information that's being screened against.
Selling point -- day to day is going to vary a lot since they have a lot of things going on in this area
