Job Description

Our healthcare client is seeking an Epic Application Analyst for a remote opportunity.



The Patient Access team supports Cadence Enterprise Scheduling, Prelude Registration and self-check-in kiosk (Welcome) for patients to schedule visits and procedures within Epic. The applications also provide tools that help improve patient services, keep appropriate slots open, and make efficient use of staff and other resources. Epic MyChart integration helps patient self-schedule and cancel appointments to boost patient satisfaction.



The resource will be responsible for the overall build of the workflows, system configurations, change documentation and support of operations for the application across the life cycle of implementation, maintenance/support, and optimization. The Application Analyst is responsible for the installation and upgrades and the configuration of the application. The Application Analyst assists in the coordination of end-user support activities. The Application Analyst creates the test plans for the application, executes the test plans and version upgrades, and documents all test outcomes, including troubleshooting and support. The Application Analyst is responsible for addressing customer and/or build issues, recommending mitigation plans and escalating more complex issues. The Application Analyst also provides on-call support for the applications.

Required Skills & Experience

Epic Cadence, Prelude and Referrals Certified

Experience with open/direct scheduling, scheduling optimization, and RTA

Preferred: Three (3) years relevant experience in a health care setting

Knowledge of current patient services workflows and processes

Demonstrated interest in supporting the development and build of the application
