Insight Global is looking for a SAP BTP Project Manager for their clients group that provides end-to-end Supply Chain solutions aligned with strategic goals of the organization to deliver innovative value to their customers. This team is currently trying to set up a new service SAP BTP platform and there is a big focus on integration. This individual will be the main POC who will manage the platform and integration to see it through till the end. Keeping track of where they are/who owns what. There are multiple stakeholders and groups this individual will be partnering with. This individual will be responsible to be a strong communicator, develop relationship and influence without authority -- getting to know the team, understanding the technologies and systems, being proactive, seasoned, creating different versions of status reports, identifying challenges and using JIRA/confluence to help create good documentation. We are looking for a leader to help lead this journey since they are just at the beginning. (the design is being kicked off Feb'24)
* Coordinate project activities amongst the functional and technical team members consultants
* Provides project management expertise and leads key project work streams, working with the full project life cycle, following project Governance processes
* Scope, plan and manage projects through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality
* Establish and maintain risk assessment to identify and assess the material risks that arise in their area of responsibility
* Ensure projects meets internal and external customer requirements
* Identify and evaluate project risks and issues and devise and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Strong technical project management experience within an enterprise environment
- Supply chain background -- understanding of application integration and extensions (being able to understand app development and SAP extensions)
- Understanding SAP BTP offerings
- Experience working on a SAP implementation projected (lived it through the implementation process)
- Tech Savy -- an individual who stays on top of technology trends - where SAP Is going -- what BTP is and can do
- Strong Leader -- influence, authority
