The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the first line of defense quality control process. The function will ensure that internal governance, monitoring, and reporting of key risks are identified, tested and reported on in a timely and accurate manner. Additionally, the role will be responsible for the risk assessments for specific business lines and support teams. The function will also be responsible for monitoring all associated issues, actions and events and provide reporting to upper management and Board reporting. The role will also be involved in ad hoc projects through the bank with the goal of mitigating control and process failures.
2 years experience in operational Risk or Internal Audit in the Banking industry or Big 4
Governance, Risk and Compliance Systems experience
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
Bachelors Degree
Open to hybrid on-site 3x weekly
Project experience with Big 4
