* Influence business decisions by effectively closing, forecast and budgeting process, providing
financial analysis and variance explanations.
* Accountable for reporting and effective cost management in partnership with Supply Chain
department. Develop and implement work strategies, financial models, and tools to achieve
desired results.
* Support and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of
unexpected variance to achieve financial and non-financial goals for the Distribution Expenses in
the Supply Chain department.
* Implement reports and processes within the finance function improving the quality and
timeliness of reporting, insight and transaction processing.
* Works with cross-functional areas to identify and implement continuous process improvements
in reports, process and procedures by establishing and maintaining high quality assurance
standards and timeliness of the internal financial reporting.
* Leverages extensive internal/external contacts at all levels in the organization and confer with
leadership & internal business partners on unusual issues/situations.
* Responsible to track, analyze and post-evaluation of any Capital or Investment project.
* Assist and perform research and analysis in special projects on an ad-hoc basis as needed.
* Conducts activities in accordance with GAAP, internal audit controls, policies and guidelines.
* Provide oversight, development guidance and technical knowledge to other Finance team
members
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is a plus.
* Minimum four to eight years of progressive finance experience in an organization of appropriate scale and complexity.
* Proven experience in large finance projects leading teams.
* Experience in Supply Chain or Transportation. Thorough understanding of load planning, tendering, tracking, tracing and exception management are required. TMS implementation is a plus.
* High level of interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.
* Strong work ethics and skills to be proactive to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
* Ability to work cross functionally and be a team player in order to achieve desired results.
* Proficient to independently work in a fast-paced, fluid and dynamic work environment.
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professional skepticism. Attention to details is a must.
* Must have a high level of competency in Microsoft Excel, experience creating and delivering power point presentations.
* Knowledge of JDE and/or Oracle, Hyperion is a plus.
