Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AWS Data Solutions Architect for a client in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry. In this role, architecting the development of Digital Solutions for the Enterprise using cloud technologies, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS products or a combination. He/she will track, review, and provide feedback to the development teams to improve solution capability and technical delivery standards across the business. The Solution Architect will collaborate with the extended community of architects to describe the solution built, the rationale for tool/platform/service selection, produce comprehensive logical architectural documents to rationalize investments in certain products/services/solutions in alignment with Enterprise standards, guidelines, and established patterns. The Solution Architect will also conduct current-state analysis, create ad-hoc architectural diagrams, reference architecture, high-level-architecture, provide business and process architectural perspectives, specific capability analysis and gap analysis. The Solution architect will be instrumental in co-creating reusable and scalable technology components with other functional leaders, including generative AI/ML functions. This is a remote role and candidates must work EST hours.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience driving successful software development projects
5+ years of AWS Cloud Solution Architecture experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Strong understanding of complex data architecture and Master Data Management (MDM)
Experience with machine learning, data science tools, operational systems using AI/ML
Experience with DevOps processes (tools such as GitLab) in an Enterprise environment
Technical expertise, business process knowledge and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
AWS Sagemaker and Fargate
AWS Solution Architecture Certification
Life Sciences, biotech or pharma domain experience
