Insight Global is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to support our client on a Bids and Tenders project ASAP.
In Scope:
* Solutions should be analyzed through the framework of 'People Process or Technology'
* Commercial Strategy Development Process inclusive of updating SOPs/work instructions
* How documents are transferred, kept, version controlled and distributed to key parties
* Requirements to approve, enter, manage and monitor pricing in our systems including those generating any price adjustment
* Internal capability building including outputs that support customer requirements
* Metric development, measuring, review and escalation process
* Integration of key contract deliverables into quota development
* Purposeful automation workflow and/or other parts of process, if appropriate.
* Brainstorm requirements for potential future state technologies; Awareness of future IT tools to integrate into the process; not limited to simple solutions like email and Excel
Current State Processes and Interviews We will conduct interviews with approximately 20 people to understand pain points in the current way of working and possible gaps and needs with the processes. We will facilitate the Current State Process Map of the process with current state cycle time and details where metrics are currently gathered. Pain points will be analyzed using the 5 Why's technique to ensure identified issues are drilled down to the true root cause and solutions are delivered to these issues. Future State Processes
and Change Management This deliverable will include Measurement-based detailed Future State Process Maps, Future State Roles and Responsibilities Table, and alignment of those roles to the Future State Processes. This will be conducted during a 3-day workshop which will include process definitions and tabletop exercises. Deliverable: process map in Visio. Solutions are recommended against the true root cause of issues, not against high level pain points. Deliver clear recommendations and solutions that will have a tangible impact on a proposed future state.
Recommendations This Deliverable will include a list of data-driven recommendations, which includes both process change and organizational change recommendations. This includes recommended metrics to ensure future state success. This will also include a review of the recommendations with the leadership team and refinement of the recommendations based on feedback. All recommendations will be broken out into short term, and long term road maps (crawl / walk / run ) with clear execution plan and change management recommendations. Post Implementation Measurements This deliverable will include Measurement-based detailed Future State Process Verification to verify that new process is in line with the expected benefits. Implementation plan and change management must be delivered to help deliver change to the team.
- 7+ years of continuous improvement experience working in a large scale
- Lean six sigma -- People, process, technology
- Experience with process mapping and root cause analysis
- Experience with end to end implementation after the strategy phase
