The Business Continuity Process Design Consultant II will provide overall leadership in creation of distributed architecture policies and standards across the Program. This individual will work across multiple lines of technology to understand both current and future shared platform architectures (Local Cloud, Hybrid, Google or Amazon Cloud Solutions, Java Quartz, etc.). This individual will look at application and service recovery and restoration across multiple shared platforms and create a tiered set of recovery and restoration solutions based on business needs. This individual would influence Business Continuity standards and policies around Cloud Services and drive new technology efforts towards right sized shared platform solutions. They will influence business continuity application and service certification planning and testing policies and processes based on cloud solutions. This individual will also provide cloud computing/shared platform subject matter consulting support in audit and regulatory matters, as needed.
Experience with hybrid cloud implementations, leveraging Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong domain expertise of cloud infrastructure computing, network and storage.
Experience in refactoring and rebuilding applications to leverage cloud infrastructure.
Design experience addressing high resiliency, scalability, performance, and concurrency requirements.
Experience in data and application backup, restoral, and recovery methodologies as executed within a Cloud platform
Ability to define solutions to solve large scale, complex business problems.
Ability to communicate technical details with business owners
