Insight Global is looking for a Lead System Engineer to support one of our largest Fintech clients. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong client-facing skills and will be responsible for connecting the client's requirements to their application services .This person should have a motivation to mentor others, exceptional troubleshooting ability, forward thinking, experience with public cloud technologies, and is proficient at working across a multitude of technical and non-technical groups. The lead engineer should be comfortable with taking on new engineering challenges, defining potential solutions, and implementing designs in a team environment. This person needs to understand networking connections between servers and that the monitoring is enabled. This position will play an important role in our organization's evolution towards contemporary application and infrastructure management practices and will be expected to both guide and support the team's growth and learning. Members of this team will have the chance to influence the direction for a critical and global IT organization. This role will also be focused on addressing the hot/tactical/engineering issues that are impacting the ongoing integration activities by using your Infrastructure as Code expertise.
- 6-8 years' experience of Windows and Network engineering experience
- Extensive Windows server experience and strong understanding of Network diagrams
- Networking: routers, switches, load balancers, etc.
- Experience with Splunk
- Experience with Wireshark
