Job Description

A nation-wide solar and maintenance operations company client is seeking Solar Technicians to join their growing team. These individuals will be responsible for preventative maintenance of solar sites - checking for shattered panels, hanging wires, water, etc. They will also be responsible for thermal testing, troubleshooting, and documenting any issues found. These individuals will report to a Field Manager who will provide direction on their schedule for each week, and should be comfortable traveling directly from their home to various client locations (50-100+ miles of driving per day). They will be reimbursed per mileage (should be comfortable using own vehicle), and provided with all tools, testing equipment, and safety gear, as well as a company laptop and iPad.

Required Skills & Experience

- 0-4 years' experience in Solar OR renewable energy/electrical engineering degree

- Hardworking/self-starter

- Clean driving record and able to pass a background check

- Vehicle for travel and comfortable working in a field role





Prior experience as Solar Technician requires:

- OSHA certification

-Experience working with 600v-1500v systems

- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE and NFPA-70e requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Completion of NFPA 70E course

- Thermography certifications

- BESS manufactures certifications
