Job Description
Our Pharmaceutical client is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join a brand new organization focused on Commercial Strategy of global non-branded products. The Sr. Analyst would be teaming up with the director to provide data for visualization and insights. The Sr. Analyst should have hands on technical skills in cleaning, processing, and preparing data for visualizations leveraging Dataiku (not required), but any platform or code based skills would suffice. They will be responsible for analyzing existing use cases, prepare data across Pharma Sales data sets so the visualization team can build effective dashboards for consumption. The Sr. Analyst is ideally familiar with sales datasets within the pharmaceutical industry. They will have an IT Services group supporting them for advanced data engineering requests. The role will be highly business-facing so will require someone skilled in speaking through data requirements, assisting in source-to-target mappings, and providing technical direction to onshore/offshore vendor partners to develop Data Solutions. The ideal resource will have a combination of Business Analysis and Data-focused technology skills.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience as a Technical Data Analyst with advanced skills in data cleaning, processing, and preparing data for visualization
Understanding of data structures and processing tools and techniques such as Dataiku (preferred), ETL Platforms, SQL, Python, Etc.
Expert Excel Skills
Familiarity with Data Visualization platforms ex. Tableau, Qlik, WhizAI
Knowledge of Commercial Sales and Marketing data within Life Sciences industry (Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices)
Familiarity with Source-to-Target Mapping, Gathering data Requirements, managing user stories in JIRA
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in Pharmaceutical industry ideally with claims or patient based data (IQVIA data sets)
Knowledge of Cloud Based data tools and sources (AWS)
